Book Description: For many decades of United States history, Democrats have anointed themselves as the defenders and benefactors of the working class; however, especially in recent years, they have inappropriately and disingenuously assumed this mantle despite their growing, relentless deprivation of prosperity and opportunity, freedom of choice, and transparency. Many who participate in the party and vote with the party alike do so with good hearts and the best intentions. This paper does not suggest that the party in its entirety, or even in its majority, carries out this assault. Nor does this paper aim to defend the Republican party, which has many faults of its own. The creative tension that exists between the two parties has led to some of this country's greatest periods of prosperity. The Democrats' leadership, however, has displayed vicious motive to abuse and take advantage of many of its supporters. This paper lays out the ways in which their tactics, policies, and lack of ethics hurt the working class. Each section addresses a single issue by the way of providing details about Democrats' leadership practices, followed by tying those concepts into how they negatively impact the working class of the United States of America.
