Book Description: The Venture Capital Guidebook is divided into three parts. Parts One and Two are structured in a workbook format with worksheets and templates similar to those used by venture capitalists to convert the answers they receive during due diligence into due diligence binders, reports, and resource documents. Part Three offers a case study that resembles a complete due diligence packet. The hypothetical case study will demonstrate to readers the due diligence process, tactics, and results including how to draw all of the information gleaned during the due diligence process into one resource document and how to synthesize that information into a clear memo analying the investment opportunity. The content will be punctuated by the experiences and perspectives of the finance world's most successful venture capitalists, VC lawyers, and VC accountants.
