Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama have captured the imagination of the world unlike any other period in American presidential history. As the first and truly viable female and African American candidates, their quest give rise to hope, aspiration and encouragement to people without regards to gender or ethnicities, that they too can dream the heretofore impossible dream, and experience its very possible realities beginning in early childhood and extending to a much later time period as examplified by the republican candidate senator John McCain. This trail blazing phenomena as dispicted in this publication was written and illustrated specifically for very young children as its primary objective. However, its ultimate intentions are to bring attention to all who may one day because of the precedent set by all of the 1988 presidential candidates, become candidates themselves, or at least become seriously involvec in the American political process itself, whereupon qualifications will be the only criteria. Regardless of which of the current candidates become the ultimate victorious nominee for president, some child, some person, some where, will emerge as the future successor to the current candidates. Will that child/person be someone you know, whom you have nutured, and exposed to the how and why of basic governmental and political awareness? This book is a great starting educational, and inspirational catalyst towards long range possibilities.
