This is a very unusual book in that is accomplishes three major, rather comprehensive, aims in a concise, readable form. First, it introduces the cultural and historical basis for a way of viewing the world that now emerges as confirmed in the height of Western science through modern physics, Eastern philosophy, and the common sense of Africa. Secondly, it takes the concept of the spiritual/material unity of the cosmos and make it practical and personal, applicable to the many very serious problems facing us, our world, and offering much-needed solutions. And thirdly, it provides a synthesis of knowledge which places the human psyche in an empowered position capable of changing our movement toward self-destruction to a more pro-life stance, giving clear instructions on how that goal can be accomplished.
