The author is a licensed clinical social worker in private practice for more than 18 years in Leroy, New York. He specializes in the treatment of depression, anxiety, alcoholism, and adult survivors of sexual abuse. For many years he has wanted to explore incidental learning, which led him to becoming an historian and writing this book on Silver Lake, New York.
