The Resident's Guide to Ambulatory Care continues to be written by residents, for residents. The 6th edition features the addition of an esteemed pharmacist, Miriam Chan, PharmD, who performed an extensive review of the entire text, ensuring that all guidelines and medications are current and accurate. This edition includes new and updated charts, tables, and algorithms. We have included web links to living documents where available. We have added a new chapter on nutrition for patients with the chronic conditions of hypertension, hyperlipidemia, diabetes and obesity. The 6th edition provides state of the art information on evaluation and management of common ambulatory conditions in a straightforward, concise, and focused format.
