In 2006, a 24-Hour Interview Marathonevent took place in the Pavilion designed byarchitect Rem Koolhaas. Small and with a soft-cover in the formatof a traditional flip-book , the book is alively representation of the now legendary24-hour marathon of interviews, held withsome of the greatest names in internationalcontemporary culture. A highly visual and energetic book forits small size, it features over 150 colourand black and white illustrations andphotographs interspersed with text extractsfrom the interviews, and moves along inchronological order of the 24 hours. Koolhaas is one of the latest additions toan illustrious list of architects which includeZaha Hadid (2000), Daniel Libeskind (2001),Oscar Niemeyer (2003), Álvaro Siza andEduardo Souto de Moura with Cecil Balmond(2005), and Olafur Eliasson (2007).
