Book Description:
Students organize data in rough draft and presentation graphs and then look for patterns and special features. They describe what seems to be typical for a data set and are introduced to the median. They use line plots and bar graphs to compare two sets of data. Small teams investigate a question about sleep, represent the data in several ways, and present findings in written or verbal form. Suggested pacing: 15 sessions.
