Be a Campus Champion
Gain valuable, hands-on marketing experience that you can apply to whatever career you choose in the future, while helping your fellow students save money on textbooks! We're looking for outgoing, dynamic students like you to manage a marketing campaign on your campus to promote CampusBooks. The Campus Champions program is a great way for you to learn techniques for marketing yourself, along with the company.
Why be a Champion?
- Set your own hours, party any day of the week. College life is expensive and time-consuming. You need a job for money, but don't want a job that will take up all your time. So be a Champion! Set your own hours, party any day of the week, and feel sorry for those working stiffs who are studying for classes at their 9-to-5's.
- Have fun, meet new people! Get better acquainted with your student body and have an actual reason to talk to strangers. You won't believe how quickly you'll make new friends and valuable future business contacts.
- Gain job and leadership experience. When you interview for The Job, you will likely be asked to "Talk about a time in the past when you displayed leadership abilities" or "Give an example of a time when you took personal initiative." Have Champion experience to talk about, so you're not the lame interviewee that answers, "UhhhhÉ"
- Earn $$$! The best perk to being a Champion? Getting paid to do it!
What exactily do Champions do?
The CampusBooks.com Web site practically sells itself. All you have to do is tell people we exist! CampusBooks.com is an online comparison shopping Web site that compares prices of textbooks for students, doing all the work for them. Students who search for their books on our site are given a list of online bookstores that sell their book and the price it is being sold for. Most students can save up to 90% off the retail price. They can even search for all their books at the same time, using our Book Bundling feature. That way they only push one button, one time, to search for price comparisons on a whole list of books. How much easier could it get?
How it works
Each Campus is managed by a Champion, with more Champions at bigger campuses. The more books sold on your campus site, the more money you can make.
- Get paid on the 15th of every month, with performance bonuses.
- Get in the Campus Champion Challenge. Win cash prizes for the Champions with the highest overall sales.
- Work at your leisure: 10 to 50 hours weekly during back to school, depending on what works best for your schedule.
